Bona Varda is proud to announce the release of Flip Flop, a double-sided, limited-edition collaborative zine that brings together, for the first time, the work of Russian-American artist Slava Mogutin and British-American artist Oli Raptor in one versatile, flippable object.

“SUPERDELICIOUS!” - Bruce LaBruce, filmmaker and writer

FlipXFlop is designed to be read from both directions. Start from one cover, and you're in Mogutin's world; flip the zine over and begin again from Raptor's side. Each artist has 30 pages, plus their own cover, to develop a complete visual statement, with the two bodies of work meeting in a shared spread at the centre of the publication. The zine combines analog photography, collage, drawings, and text, all created exclusively for this project. Shot on locations in London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Berlin.

“This superdelicious art porn zine brings together two wonderfully perverted artists in one topsy-turvy, rock-‘em-sock-'em world. Flip-flopping between personal pornographic photographs, found images, appropriated slogans, and street stickers (which Mogutin, in his OCD art madness, has been compulsively collecting for decades), this filthy fanzine takes gay fornication and exhibitionism to new levels of depravity and insolence. You'd be a fool not to snap up this limited-edition piece of trash!” - Bruce LaBruce

Printed on 115gsm natural paper across 62 pages in a mix of colour and black-and-white, Flip Flop is a limited edition of 200 signed and numbered copies in A4 format with singer-sewn binding. Published and printed in London by Bona Varda, August 2026. £40.
