This exhibition brings together books, zines, and portraiture as a celebration of queer lives, friendship, creativity, and connection. Presented together, these works consider the relationship between printed matter and portraiture as parallel forms of documentation. At a time when queer histories continue to be overlooked, contested, or erased, documenting everyday lives becomes both a cultural and historical necessity.
